2020 EOY order deadlines (and the annual H&B Summer break!)
Our last work day for 2020 will be Fri Dec 18, and we’ll be back and at ‘em on Monday the 18th of January 2021. The below deadlines for postal orders should ensure pre-Christmas delivery, according to Australia Post’s advice – but it’s yet to be seen how our postal service will hold up.
As a precaution, we’ve been conservative with our deadlines to give our hard-working posties a little extra time. To complete your jobs before we close, here are the key dates for your diary:
✈️ Mailed Internationally: must be ordered by 9am, Tues Dec 1
🚚 Parcel Post (within Australia): must be ordered by 9am, Mon Dec 7
🚚 Express Post (within Australia): must be ordered by 9am, Fri Dec 11
👋🏼 For studio collection: must be ordered by 9am Fri, Dec 11
Print-on-demand/dropshipping: If you are able, we encourage ordering stock to keep on hand rather than printing-on-demand/dropshipping over this busy period. This time of year, our turn-arounds are longer – keeping an inventory will give you more control over your order dispatch times.
If you miss these dates, get in touch anyway and we’ll do our best to help you out. This said, it’s called the silly season for a reason – so best to get your order in as early as possible 😉
2020 – 2021 H&B Summer Break
We will be taking a slightly longer break this year to recoup after a mighty challenging year. Our studio will close on the 18th of December, and will reopen on the 18th of January. We will not be taking print orders over this time – our order form will be offline and our email autoresponder on!
If you plan to continue print sales throughout late December – mid January, we recommend ordering prints to keep on hand to see you through this period. We don’t know what our work volume will be like in the first few weeks back, so we can’t promise that there will be super fast turnarounds upon our return. Best to be prepared and order in advance, if you can! Please be be sure to place your orders before our deadlines (above) so that we can make sure you’ve got everything you need before we turn the printers off for the year.
